There’s an old adage in business that “you can’t manage what you don’t measure.” That means that unless you’re able to measure something, there is no way to know where you’re going, how you are performing, and whether you will fare better or worse in a particular endeavour. In all areas of service, we strive to measure what matters to our clients – first and foremost, that means your legal costs.
Fixed fees are therefore a good option for our clients as opposed to modes of time-based billing adopted by our larger competitors in which it is often difficult to show that something of value has actually been done for you. Billing by the hour is not the most efficient and effective delivery of legal services – for you, or for us.
